I knew there was a reason why I followed おかだ on twitter

So…I tried this thing here. I wanted to do some sketches with characters I consider as ‘beautiful’ (I know they’re also handsome ;D). Actually I still have some ideas for other characters but dunno if I’ll be able to make them cause well…maybe I get too lazy again/loose interest/etc. (●´⌓`●)

Sorry for any OOC- & weirdness I did here ( ̄д ̄;)

So here are more characters and I think I won’t do more than this (●´⌓`●)

this turned out more different than I thought cause Momoi wasn’t planned at all (and she doesn’t really fit in the concept here xD)

I thought that it would be a good idea to draw one girl for this but urgh! I can’t draw girls and for some reason I couldn’t come up with a more interesting design for her, although girls are supposed to be easier for this kind of thing!! D:

Oh well…I tried ;D

ARTISTS BEWARE!!!!!!
Here is another bad situation to look out for. I received this e-mail from a company; I will not give them any exposure by using their name. This is my personal e-mail correspondence back to them. They offer no information…

Adam Thompson’s “Heroic Words Of Wisdom”

(via darkroomgate)

list of my favourite quotes of last year

“You do see, you just don’t observe.”

“The worse thing you can do on the battlefield is to feel discouraged. Don’t give into pressure, don’t be afraid, don’t run away and never come back. Instead, be elated, thrive for the attention earned under the title of adversary, and return the favour full-force.”

“That’s the frailty of genius, John. It needs an audience.”

“Genius is relative.”

“My mother always told me I could be anything I wanted. When I told her I wanted to be a ninja, she suggested something more realistic. So I became a hero.”

“Breathing? Breathing is boring.”

“How pedestrian of you.”

The most dreadful question: What are your interests?

The one time I decided my brain-to-mouth filter could frankly, sod off, I said something along the lines of:

All forms of art, and I do mean all. Studying, observing, deducing, experimenting. Being Curious. Idiosyncrasies. Useful, convenient, but not spoiling technology. Science, but that’s such a vague word. Compromising. Math, numbers. Organization. Firing electrical signals. The occasional sleeping. Breathing?

I do not like talking about myself, if it wasn’t obvious already.

I resolve to reply with, “I am not interesting, let’s move on.” the next time I am asked a similar question.

"He has a penchant for manipulation, withheld information to gain information… He demonstrated only enough emotions to prove she had them."

Before we begin: being confident is not synonymous with turning into an ego driven delusional maniac, just as being humble is not synonymous with being self-deprecating and negative. Okay? Got it? Awesome.

BEER IS PEOPLE#: 10 Things I've Learned In The 2 Years Since I Graduated From Art School

samspratt:

I graduated from art school 2 years ago, here are some things I think I’ve learned. In the words of my current client, Donald Glover: “I’m not saying this thing is true or not, I’m just saying it’s what I learned.”

  1. Creativity Is Recession Proof” were the words plastered over…
